Fiesta De la Musica 2017 kicks off with a pre-party on the beach Saturday June 3
Pre-party of FDM 2017 on the beach hosted by Papalote Sand Bar in Coral Baja.
The local band Herederos will set the floor on fire with their signature contagious AfroLatinMexican pulse from Baja California Sur, “Ritmo Diferente Que Calienta El Ambiente”…
Founded in 2012, the Herederos explores and combines the musical connexions between different cultures: reggae-salsa, samba-murga, cumbia-hip-hop, son jarochotimba.
On Saturday June 17, Los Cabos wil join in to the largest musical event in the world, the Fete de la Musique, celebrated in over 120 countries.
"The festival of all and for all" will feature more than 100 musical projects, local, national and international artists, among which:
- Stellar band Mexican Institute of Sound, an innovative project of musician Camilo Lara, the fusion of electronics, cumbia and Mexican folk and traditional music.
- CUCO, hard rock from Ecuador.
- Ti Nahui from Monterrey. 'From Norteño to reggae, cumbia and huapango !!
- El Ensamble Azul, instrumental Latin jazz from Guadalajara
- BANDA Mezcal from Monterey, punkrock, reggae, dub and the uncontrollable Californian ska!
- Tohtem, Rock en Espanol de Guadalajara
- Los Herederos, the rhythm different of Los Cabos, an Afro-Latin-Mex musical dialogue
- Percusión Limanya, a musical path between Guinea and Mexico
- Charly Mastrazzi, singer-songwriter of Argentine origin, now living in Guadalajara, creator of Ñandú Folklore
Around 20 stages will be distributed in the main streets and avenues of the Historic Center of San José del Cabo to show the different projects from 18:00 to 02:00.
